Holcombe are looking for their fourth straight league win and fifth in all competitions when Team Bath Buccaneers travel to Kent on Saturday (2pm).
Nick Bandurak’s side sit second in the Vitality Division One South with four wins from five league games and also progressed to the quarter-finals of the England Hockey Cup on Sunday with a 5-2 win over Trojans.
Bath, meanwhile, have won one and lost four of their opening five, their sole victory coming against Harleston Magpies, who are bottom with five defeats in five matches, including a 6-1 loss to Holcombe.
Emma Bandurak will be hoping to continue her goalscoring form after another brace at Trojans took her to seven goals for the season.
For the visitors, scoring goals has proved their biggest problem so far this campaign. They sit joint-bottom of the scoring charts with ninth-placed Southgate, one of the newly-promoted sides.
They have the fourth worst defensive record, with Wimbledon 2s, Southgate and Harleston Magpies having conceded more. Holcombe, meanwhile, boast the best defensive record in the division and second-highest goal tally.
Entry at Holcombe Park is free on Saturday. The match will be streamed on Veo Live and updates posted on our social media channels.
