Head Coach Jonny Caren told Scottish Hockey: “Nations Cup 2 is an exciting opportunity to challenge ourselves against the teams in and around us in the world rankings.

“This inaugural tournament presents the opportunity to test the direction we are traveling as a squad.

“Our athletes and staff have worked hard over the Christmas and New Year period to continually push this team forward both on and off the pitch.

“Having to adapt and change our game to face teams from four different continents will be a new experience for many of this team in a competitive environment, but we are looking forward to the growth as a group through this tournament.

“We, as a team, understand the pressure is high with the world ranking points that are at stake, but it is these moments that we work hard for all year round.”

We wish Rob and his Scottish teammates the very bust of luck in Muscat.
