Holcombe member Josh Lee taking on extraordinary charity challenge for Demelza Hospice

In August, #TeamPentalec – including Holcombe member Josh Lee – are taking on the immense Five Peak Challenge!

You can donate here.

About the challenge:

We have a team of 16 climbers comprised of directors, management, electricians, plumbers, and apprentices, including two ex-royal marines.

Day one of our quest is devoted to travelling from our base in Gillingham, Kent to Killarney, Ireland.

Day two is destined to be our hardest challenge, where we will climb Mount Carrauntoohil in the early morning, followed by travel to Northern Ireland, in hope to arrive at the summit of Slieve Donard by 8pm.

Day three will start by waking up in Scotland, after travelling overnight on the minibus, which will take us to the climb of Ben Nevis. The remainder of the day will be spent recovering on the road to Cumbria, England.

Day four commences by tackling Scafell Pike in the early AM, and shortly followed by the final climb at Mount Snowdon, Wales.

Day five shall be spent resting on the journey back to base.

We aim to complete the final peak on Sunday 19th August, totalling our climbing time at 26 hours across 3 days.
