Holcombe travel to Cardiff on Saturday evening (18:00) to face Cardiff & Met, with both sides having won their opening matches last weekend in the Premier Division.
Holcs kickstarted the Kwan Browne era with an impressive 5-3 victory over Wimbledon, which saw them come back from 2-0 and 3-1 down and featured goals from four debutants in Teague Marcano, Mubashar Ali, Matt Ramshaw and Ali Shan.
Tom Russell scored Holcombe’s first.
Cardiff, meanwhile, won 3-1 at Southgate in their season opener, with former Holcombe player Rhodri Furlong on the scoresheet alongside Ieuan Davies and Rhys Gowman.
Last season, Holcs won the only clash between these sides 6-0 at Holcombe Park, with no return fixture at the Welsh Institute of Sport with Holcombe finishing in the top-six and their opponents in the bottom-six.
Browne’s side currently sit second after the first matches, behind only champions Old Georgians with Cardiff two places further back in fourth.
Holcs have made just one change to their squad as double-Olympian Samkelo Mvimbi comes in for his Holcombe debut after signing over the summer.
