Holcombe are looking for back-to-back victories as they take on Slough in the Vitality Division One South at 2pm on Saturday.
The hosts moved up to third with a 3-0 win over fellow Kent side Sevenoaks courtesy of goals from Hattie Jones, Lottie Bingham and Emma Bandurak. Slough currently sit in second place having drawn with Sevenoaks on the opening day before wins over Southgate and Barnes.
Nick Bandurak’s side have won two of their opening three matches, scoring four penalty corners in the process without conceding from said set piece. Bandurak has scored three goals in three matches while Bingham scored her first goal for the club on her home debut.
Last time the two sides were in the same division, Holcombe finished top of the Premier Division while Slough finished second-bottom and were relegated via the Play-Offs.
The previous season, Holcombe finished second and did the double over Slough, who survived in the Play-Offs. Holcombe won 3-0 at home and 1-0 away on their way to the League Final.
Entry is free at Holcombe Park for Saturday’s match (2pm).
