Holcombe Hockey Club are delighted to confirm the arrival of England youth international Evie Younger to our women’s performance squad.
Younger is a current England under-16 international and has impressed throughout pre-season for Nick Bandurak’s side. She could make her debut in tomorrow’s Premier Division curtain-raiser against Wimbledon at Holcombe Park (16:00).
Her arrival follows the summer signings of Olivia Shannon, Kaitlin Cotter, Maddie Newitt and Tessa Reid.
On joining the club, Younger said: “It is a very exciting opportunity to gain experience and play with the girls after a successful pre-season both on and off the pitch.”
Meanwhile, Head Coach Bandurak added: “Evie has really come into her own throughout pre-season and it has been exciting to see her settle into her role with our group.
“Evie has so much potential at such a young age and I’m really looking forward to seeing that flourish.”
We are delighted to welcome Evie to the club and can’t wait to see her in the red and black!
