Holcombe Hockey Club – Women’s 1st XI Coach/Player-Coach Opportunity
Holcombe Hockey Club is seeking a motivated and experienced Coach or Player-Coach to lead our Women’s 1st XI as we begin an exciting new chapter in Division One South of the England Hockey League.
We welcome applications from individuals with the expertise, leadership and vision to guide a high-performing squad.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a coach or dual-role player-coach to lead both strategically and, where applicable, on the pitch, depending on the applicant’s playing status and preference.
The Role
We are looking for a dynamic individual who can:
- Inspire and lead a talented squad both on and off the pitch.
- Design and deliver high-quality, purposeful training sessions.
- Develop individuals and the team collectively with a clear identity and structure.
- Contribute positively to the club’s high-performance environment in collaboration with the Director of Hockey, Kwan Browne.
Who We’re Looking For
The ideal candidate will:
- Bring recent experience as a coach or high-level player, ideally with a strong interest in coaching.
- Hold, or be working towards, relevant coaching qualifications.
- Demonstrate strong communication and leadership qualities.
- Be invested in building a performance-driven culture that supports player development and team success.
